As you may have heard, T-Mobile Sidekick users just got a kick in the teeth: Two weeks after their contacts, calendar entries, and other personal data mysteriously disappeared, T-Mobile says the data is gone for good. While the Sidekick isn’t really a business device (and it stores most data online rather than on the phone), this does serve as a cautionary tale for anyone walking around with precious, irreplaceable data.
