United States of Denial: Believe It, We Need to Downsize Our Cars to Get Better Gas Mileage
It’s good if drivers of big, 12-mpg SUVs switch to big, 20-mpg crossovers. It would be even better if they switched to small, 35-mpg hatchbacks. However, the EPA treads lightly around that topic.
