Pfizer Rep Claims Zoloft Touted for Failed Cheerleaders; Viagra for Women

Former Pfizer sales rep Blair Collins' whistleblower lawsuit contains a detailed guide to how some of Pfizer's reps allegedly promoted their drugs. Among the tactics they allegedly used were recommending the antidepressant Zoloft for girls who failed to make the cheerleading squad; and staging talks in which doctors recommended prescribing Viagra for women who had difficulty reaching orgasm.

When Should You Post To Social Networks?

When the company I worked for got into email marketing, the perfect day and time to send an email blast was the holy grail. Can’t send on Monday because people are digging out from the weekend. Can’t send on Friday because people are thinking about the weekend. Can’t send first thing in the morning because people are just getting into the rhythm of work and not ready to think about emails. Can’t send in the afternoon because people are shutting down for the day.

A Brief History of Nanosolar’s Big Claims

Nanosolar is one of the most fascinating solar companies out there. Founded in 2002, the company has laid claim to the highest cell efficiencies and the most private funding of any thin-film solar company for several years, sometimes suggesting that they can surpass market leaders like First Solar and badmouthing other competitors like Solyndra. World’s Absolute Dumbest Sales Rep

Today's NY Times has an article about texting while driving.  The article quoted a Cleveland, OH-based "customer service representative" named Sarah Edwards who texts while she drives.  Here's her excuse: "I barely even look at my phone when I text." In my opinion, only a first class idiot -- and an unbelievably selfish one at that -- would text while driving, because it risks not just the driver's life but everyone else who's sharing the road.
